Saturday, December 21, 2024 CLOSURES AND CANCELLATIONS
- The Halifax Overnight Winter parking ban will be enforced tonight overnight from 1am – 6am in both Zone 1 – Central and Zone 2 – Non-Central to allow crews to properly clear streets and sidewalks.
- Delayed opening of Canada Games Centre, Cole Harbour Place and Zatzman Sportsplex till 2pm.
- Halifax Libraries all branches and departments will delay opening till 2pm.
- Ferries travelling to Newfoundland from North Sydney have been cancelled.
- Ferries headed from P.E.I to NS have been cancelled.
- -All Halifax Transit services will be operating on schedule on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Please expect delays due to ongoing weather conditions. Routes 2, 3, 4, 7A/B, 9A, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29, 58, 62, 65, 90 and 91 are currently on Snow Plan.
-Due to a staffing availability the Alderney Ferry has been cancelled until Further notice. There is no shuttle bus provided at this time. There will be an update when possible for resuming Ferry Service.
