Monday January 19, 2026 — It’s a SNOW DAY for many!!

• All schools in the Halifax Regional Centre for Education are closed today due to the amount of snow that hit the region and poor road conditions!
• The Halifax Public Gardens will be closed
• Canada Games Centre will delay opening till noon
• Cole Harbour Place will delay opening until noon
• Many municipal recreation facilities are delaying opening on Jan. 19. A decision will be made at 10 a.m. (with potential re-opening at noon) regarding whether rentals, facilities and programming activities will continue as scheduled.
